All existing and prospective Club members are welcome to attend walks.
This year we will be following most walks with a fun event and, of course, afternoon tea!

Please always bring doggie doo bags and leads.

22 August 2010 Onepotu Road, Titahi Bay, at 2pm. Travel to the end of the Causeway and turn right at the school. Then turn into the carpark by the boat sheds in Onepotu Road.
Note: Suitable for buggies, although if the tide is in, you will need to push it through a bit of water and over some rocks!

19 September 2010 Wilton Bush, Churchill Drive entrance, at 2pm.
The Churchill Drive entrance to Wilton Bush (opposite Blackbridge Rd). Meet on the grass adjacent to the car park.
This is a walk for beagles, owners and anyone interested in beagles. It is an opportunity for beagles and their owners to socialise, exercise and enjoy the outdoors with other beagles. There will be goodie bags for new members. Juice, filtered water and cookies will be available after the walk.

17 October 2010 AGM, Petone Community House

31 October 2010 Queen Elizabeth Park, Paekakariki, at 2pm. Take SH1 north and take the exit marked Queen Elizabeth II Park. Follow the road right to the end.
Note: Suitable for buggies that can handle sand.

21 November 2010 Botanic Gardens, Glenmore Street entrance, at 2pm.
The main entrance (Glenmore St) to the Botanic Gardens. Meet on the grass adjacent to the car park.
This is a walk for beagles, owners and anyone interested in beagles. It is an opportunity for beagles and their owners to socialise, exercise and enjoy the outdoors with other beagles and dog owners. There will be goodie bags for new members. After the walk we will share juice, filtered water and cookies on the steps in front of the begonia house, or ice-creams can be purchased from the cafe.

12 December 2010 Christmas Walk, Awakairangai Park in Totara Park, Upper Hutt, at 2pm.
Travel north on SH2 to Upper Hutt. Turn left into Totara Park. Just over the bridge, turn right into the Awakairangai Park carpark.
Bring a wrapped doggie gift valued at approx $10, if desired. Enjoy wine, juice, Christmas cake, and some Christmas cheer after the walk.


Walks are generally for an hour followed by a fun event and BYO afternoon tea, with some refreshments provided by the club.? They are never cancelled, but Club Members can receive a telephone reminder/confirmation several days before if they wish.?
